Victoria Beckham has given birth to a little baby girl who she has called Harper Seven.
The famous ex-Spice Girl has finally added a girl to her male orientated family, giving her three sons a new sister.
It means David and Posh will have trouble hitting the pillows as they have to cater to their new bundle of joy as it wakes up every other hour of the night. Early morning feeds and nappy changes will result in the footballer and fashion designer craving whatever sleep they get.
Reports behind the unusual name are that it was the Beckham boys’ wizard decision. The trio of lads, aged five to 11 years-old, came up with the uncommon moniker after seeing the character Harper on Disney show Wizards Of Waverly Place; their favourite TV series.
Victoria, 37, alongside her husband and new dad David, will definitely have their hands full with the arrival of their fourth child so when they do hit the bed they will most definitely be wrapping themselves up in their duvet and catching up on zzzzzs. And with a screaming baby in the house the youngsters will also want to cover their ears in their duvets.
The name Harper is an Olde English name so it seems the former England captain still wants their new-born to have English roots despite being an American by birth. The baby’s middle name Seven is reportedly derived from the fact that her father’s lucky number is seven and that when he famously played for the football club Manchester United, his shirt number was seven. Further reasons are said to be that she was born at 7:44am during the seventh month of the year and weighing 7lb 10oz.
David, 36, who currently plays in America for Los Angeles Galaxy, is predicted to get another tattoo in honour of his new little girl. The body art will be his 20th.
